Trubbish Crochet Pattern

I really wanted something simple to make with very few parts and I finally settled on Trubbish. I have to admit the first time I saw Trubbish I wasn't too fond of him but I have to say he's really grown on me! Maybe it's those cute little bunny ears? All Pokemon are cute in their own ways, even the ones made of trash.  Hope you guys enjoy!

If you find any mistakes or have any questions let me know (I typed this one up pretty quickly)! I recommend weighting this plush so he sits nicely! He's 19 inches across (from tip of arm to tip of arm) and about 9 in tall (from the floor to the top of his head, *not* including ears).

More pictures at the end of the post!

Read pattern carefully before starting, particularly the instructions at the beginning of the pattern.
Materials:
* Dark green worsted yarn
*tan worsted yarn
*Small amount of pink and light blue
*small amount of white and black

*Large yarn needle for sewing pieces together
*Fiberfill/stuffing
*A chopstick or similar object is helpful when stuffing small objects, not required
*G hook and F hook
*Straight pins for pining pieces on before sewing them on
*Optional: beans, rice, or plastic beads & pantyhose (for weight, more info after body pattern)
Note: there is no gauge for this pattern. The only thing that is important is that you have a tight stitch when crocheting so that no stuffing will show through the finished pieces. If you use the recommended hooks it should be fine but if you are someone who crochets more loosely you may want to reduce the hook size accordingly.
This pattern is worked in rounds (unless otherwise noted) and uses the following techniques/abbreviations:
Sc- single crochet
Dc: double crochet
Hdc: half double crochet
inc- increase
dec- decrease, particularly you should use the invisible decrease if you know how to do it
sc in each sc- single crochet in each single crochet, don't add any increases or decreases
R- round or row
Blo- crochet in back loops only
FLO- crochet in front loops only
Repeat (*)- repeat what is between the asterisks * until you come to the end of the round, unless otherwise indicated
ring- magic ring. If you cannot do this technique then you may substitute this: ch 2 and sc however many were supposed to go in the ring into the second ch. However this will leave a small hole in the piece, this is why the magic ring is preferred, it leaves no visible hole. Many tutorials on how to do the magic ring are available online.
The numbers in parenthesis at the end of each row are the number of stitches you should have when that row is done. Mark the start of each round with a marker and move this marker as you complete rows.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
All pieces (unless otherwise indicated) are worked with TWO strands of yarn together. You may do this by taking the strand on the outside of the skien and the one which comes from the inside of the skien together. Crochet with two strands the same way you would crochet if you had only one. This will yield a bigger plush faster and with less effort than crocheting with only one strand. This pattern has not been tested for only one strand and pieces such as the eyes would need to be adjusted for size on your own.
All pieces are made with G hook unless otherwise indicated.

Body, make one in dark green
The body is made in an oval shape instead of a perfect circle. You're still working in the round though!
If you want to add weight to the plush, purchase plastic pellets for doll making, rice, beans ect and use fill a nylon with the desired amount, tie it off and put it in first when stuffing.
Chain 12
R1- Sc in 2nd chain from hook, sc until end, put 3sc in last chain, continue to work along the opposite side, like working in the round and sc in the backs of each of the chains until you get to the last one. Add two more sc to the last sc so it will now contain 3. (24) When you finish this round you will have 24 sc, you basically crochet around the chain, down one side and around to the other while putting 3sc in the end chains.

  2. Thanks so much! ^_^
He's 19 inches across (from tip of arm to tip of arm) and about 9 in tall (from the floor to the top of his head, *not* including ears). So pretty big I guess >_<

I forgot about finishing the pansear pattern! Thanks for reminding me! I have one pattern I really want to finish and a commission to do but when I'm done with those I'll do the pansear alterations. How did Panpour turn out? I never actually made the whole thing! Let me know if you have any other questions!
